## Description

Calu is a digital scheduling assistant for professionals in health, wellness, and aesthetics. Its platform brings appointment management, patient information, and automated WhatsApp reminders together, helping practitioners organize their work and reduce missed appointments. Patients can also manage their bookings themselves, while professionals can access their agenda from a mobile phone. Calu says its reminders can reduce absences by up to 60%.

The service offers several subscription plans, with features that vary by tier. These include a digital agenda, WhatsApp reminders, patient records and clinical histories, email or chat support, and video or personalized training. Higher-tier options add larger or unlimited reminder allowances, electronic prescriptions, and customized setup for centers. Some plans also include Mercado Pago integration for advance payments, with stated transaction commissions.

Calu supports professionals with initial setup of schedules and services, ongoing assistance, and onboarding designed to help users get started quickly. The company says more than 3,000 health professionals use the platform to streamline administrative tasks and spend more time with patients.
