## Description

CalyxOS is an innovative open-source mobile operating system designed to empower users by prioritizing their digital privacy and security. Created by the Calyx Institute, a non-profit organization based in New York, CalyxOS challenges the status quo set by major tech companies that monetize user data through surveillance and restrictive ecosystems. With a core philosophy of Privacy By Design, CalyxOS offers users unparalleled control over their personal information.

This user-friendly operating system integrates significant features from various free software projects, including the Android Open Source Project and LineageOS, ensuring wide device compatibility and customization. Key offerings include microG for seamless app functionality without compromising privacy, and F-Droid for accessing open-source applications. Users can also enjoy built-in tools like SeedVault for secure backups and Datura for network access management. CalyxOS caters to everyone, from everyday users seeking a streamlined experience free of invasive trackers to activists in need of enhanced security measures. Experience a digital life where your interests come first with CalyxOS.
