Its membership includes growers, collectors, artists, writers, landscape professionals, architects, businesses, public institutions and enthusiasts. While camellia cultivation has deep roots in Galicia, particularly the Rías Baixas, the society reflects growing interest in the plant across many regions of Spain. The SEC promotes knowledge, cultivation and use of camellias, as well as related products and derivatives. Its activities include organising and publicising camellia fairs, exhibitions and competitions, and arranging visits and trips to public and private gardens and collections. The society also supports research into different aspects of the camellia and publishes an annual printed magazine featuring current developments, research, history and art. Through its website, it provides information on Camellia japonica, cultivars, propagation, cultivation, plant health and uses. It also introduces notable Spanish gardens and offers educational resources, helping members and the wider public discover the plant’s horticultural and cultural significance. ## Industries - 🪴 Home and Garden - 🪴 Gardening _(under Home and Garden)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idEcHjWz1-/w/160/h/74/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791440960598) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Azalea | #f9d6dd | accent | | Chambray | #3e5c9a | dark | | Flamingo | #f04438 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
