## Description

The CAMHS Digital Lab develops health intelligence and digital solutions to enhance child and adolescent mental healthcare. Its work responds to rising demand for mental health support by helping services operate more efficiently and accurately, manage costs, understand population needs, and improve clinical processes.

The lab’s workstreams include Population & Clinical Analytics, Digital Therapeutics & Assessment, Education, Outreach & Training, and Data Science & Discovery. Its solutions are designed around the needs of young people, families, clinicians, and other stakeholders. The team uses a human-centred, inclusive approach, co-designing services with young people, parents, clinicians, and teachers to create tools that are intuitive, evidence-based, and suited to everyday life.

CAMHS Digital Lab brings together clinicians, designers, systems engineers, informaticians, and academic researchers. It is a collaborative initiative involving South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust CAMHS, the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre, the Helen Hamlyn Centre of Design at the Royal College of Art, and King’s College London’s Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
