Caminatas Paso a Paso is a social venture dedicated to organizing guided walks for older adults. Our mission is to promote active aging by managing walking groups for seniors. We address two major challenges faced by older adults in Chile. Firstly, the issue of sedentary lifestyles, as over 70% of Chilean adults over 60 are considered inactive. This trend of physical inactivity increases with age, leading to health-related problems. Secondly, the problem of loneliness and social isolation, as 65% of older adults do not participate in any social organizations. By organizing energetic walks, we provide a complete exercise accessible to all, equivalent to swimming or cycling. Additionally, exercising in a group environment increases adherence and makes the experience more enjoyable. Join us and let's stay active and connected.
