## Description

Camp Blount Historic Site Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving the history of Camp Blount, protecting its grounds from further encroachment, and educating visitors about its role in American history. Located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, the historic site marks the place where General Andrew Jackson mustered troops for the Creek War in 1813. The association works collaboratively with the Tennessee Historical and Wars Commissions, local government, and other partners to support the site’s continued development.

Camp Blount is a State of Tennessee park managed by the City of Fayetteville. Public trails are open, but the site does not currently offer tours or camping. Use of the pavilion and grounds for private events is restricted and requires approval from city and state authorities. The association hosts annual events and shares news and updates about Camp Blount and local interests. It also offers general and charter membership, meeting information, volunteer opportunities, and ways to donate. Through these programs, supporters can help sustain the site and its historical interpretation.
