## Description

Camphill Norway is a network of residential and working communities that offer support, meaningful activity and shared daily life for adults who need special care, alongside staff members and their families. Its six communities are Hogganvik in Vindafjord, Jøssåsen in Malvik, Rotvoll near Trondheim, Solborg in Ringerike, Vallersund Gård in Ørland and Vidaråsen in Sandefjord. Each provides a setting where residents and staff live and work together, with community life at the heart of the approach. Vidaråsen, established in 1966, is the network’s oldest community, while Vallersund Gård is its northernmost. Camphill Norway also offers Framskolen, a folk-high-school-style programme at Vallersund Gård for young people aged 18 to 25 with intellectual disabilities. The programme aims to support the transition from family and school life to adulthood. Through its communities and educational offering, Camphill Norway focuses on belonging and participation, reflected in its message of choosing community over exclusion.
