## Description

Campus for Hope is a Southern Nevada initiative working to transform how the community addresses homelessness. Rather than operating as an encampment, overnight shelter, or walk-up facility, it is being developed as a comprehensive campus for people who are referred and ready to work toward stable rehousing. Its model focuses on personalized, trauma-informed care and addressing the root causes of homelessness through coordinated services and community partnerships.

The campus plans to offer case management, medical, dental, and vision care, mental health and substance use recovery services, employment readiness, housing placement, and support for veterans. Additional services include education and life-skills classes, legal aid, childcare and family support, community integration, outreach, and basic necessities such as food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and transportation assistance. The planned facility includes 900 residential beds, supported by a reported $200 million capital investment over three years and $30 million in annual operating expenditure.

Inspired by successful models such as Haven for Hope in San Antonio, Campus for Hope aims to create pathways to independence, sustainable housing, and a more prosperous future.
