## Description

The Canadian Mining Games is an annual competition that brings mining engineering students from across Canada together to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Now in its 36th year, the event gives students a platform to take part in technical, practical and presentation-based challenges while connecting with peers and industry professionals. The 2026 Games are scheduled for February 19 to 21 in Saskatoon.

The event also serves as a meeting point for mining companies, suppliers and emerging talent. For students, it offers opportunities to build professional connections and engage with potential employers. For participating organizations, the Games provide ways to meet and recruit mining engineering talent, raise brand visibility, host a challenge, take part in a career fair or give a presentation. Sponsorship is available to organizations interested in supporting the competition and engaging with its participants. Through its mix of competition, networking and industry involvement, the Canadian Mining Games helps connect the mining sector with the students who may contribute to its future.
