CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) is Manitoba’s provincial cancer and blood disorder organization, supporting patients and families throughout their care journey. It provides services across the province, with information to help patients prepare for visits, find care locations and connect with support. Clinical services include cancer screening, diagnostic and laboratory services, hematology, surgery, chemotherapy and other anticancer drug therapies, radiation and hormonal therapy, blood and marrow transplantation, pharmacy support, and care for people living with advanced cancer. Patients and families can also access cancer navigation, interpreter and nutrition services, counselling, support groups, wigs and headwear, breast prosthesis resources, patient education, and urgent cancer care information. CCMB offers resources on symptom management, treatment decisions, advance care planning and follow-up after treatment, as well as clinical trials and complementary therapy information. Its Research Institute, developed with the University of Manitoba, advances research into cancer and blood disorders. The organization also provides education and professional resources for healthcare providers.
