## Description

Cancer Concern Association Seychelles (CCA) is a community-focused organisation supporting people affected by cancer and their families. Its mission is to help individuals face cancer with knowledge, support, and hope, while encouraging awareness, prevention, and early detection across Seychelles. CCA offers educational outreach sessions, led by registered nurse and board member Ms. Gina Laporte, covering cancer types, risk factors, prevention, and recommended health checks. The association also provides support that can include financial assistance and guidance for emotional well-being, helping ease some of the challenges faced by patients and families.

To strengthen its work, CCA organises charity events and fundraising activities that contribute to patient support and awareness campaigns. Its fitness and healthy-living activities include walks, runs, and yoga sessions, promoting movement and healthier habits for different age groups. The organisation shares stories from cancer survivors and families, helping build understanding and connection. Community members can support its mission by donating, becoming members, volunteering, attending events, or sharing information.
