CancerSurvivorMD® is a personal health and education platform created by Josie van Londen, MD, MS, a physician, cancer survivor, and person living with primary mitochondrial disease (POLG). Drawing on nearly three decades of experience as a medical oncologist and geriatrician, as well as her own experience of chronic illness, Dr. van Londen explores the connections between medical knowledge, resilience, and lived experience.

The site focuses on cancer survivorship and related subjects, offering essays, reflections, and discussion informed by both clinical and personal perspectives. Visitors can read her latest writing on Substack and listen to the CancerSurvivorMD® Podcast.
