## Description

Cancer with Compassion is a faith-based nonprofit outreach supporting people affected by cancer. Founded by cancer survivor and chaplain Rev. Cathie Young, the organization offers comfort, hope, and practical assistance to patients and survivors, reminding them that they are not alone. Its services include personal counseling, prayer ministry, financial support, and six cancer support groups held in person and through Zoom. These groups provide opportunities to connect with others who understand the cancer journey and offer emotional and spiritual encouragement during treatment. The outreach is open to any cancer patient or survivor, including people facing advanced-stage cancer. Cancer with Compassion also shares video offerings and organizes an annual fundraising event called the Cancer Composium. The organization encourages community members to support its work through donations, which can be made online or by check. Cancer with Compassion operates as the doing-business-as name of Twelve Eleven Press, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable foundation. Its mission is rooted in sharing the love of God and the hope its faith offers to people navigating cancer.
