## Description

The National Candle Association (NCA) is a U.S. trade association representing candle manufacturers and suppliers. Established in 1974, it serves as a voice for the candle industry, promoting safety, innovation, and excellence. Rather than selling candles directly, the NCA supports its members and provides information and resources for businesses and consumers.

Its offerings include member benefits, industry events such as an annual conference and the Candle Pavilion at the Inspired Home Show, and access to member information about products and expertise. The association also shares candle education through FAQs, expert tips, facts and figures, and material on candle elements, history, and fragrance trends. For safety and standards, it provides fire-safety guidance, explains candle labels, and offers information about ASTM industry standards and safety requirements. Its science and research resources include candle science, projects, and studies. The NCA also publishes industry news and consumer resources, and promotes World Candle Month. Through initiatives such as NCA Pure Glow Assurance and AskAboutCandles.com, it helps connect the public with information about candles and their responsible use.
