## Description

The American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation (CHF) is dedicated to enhancing the health of dogs and their owners through innovative scientific research and the dissemination of critical health information. Established with a mission to prevent, treat, and cure canine diseases, CHF actively funds important research initiatives that address major health concerns such as canine cancer, tick-borne diseases, and epilepsy.

In addition to its research funding, CHF provides a wealth of resources, including educational materials tailored for breeders, veterinary professionals, and pet owners. The foundation also engages in community outreach through podcasts, webinars, and newsletters, ensuring that vital health information reaches all dog enthusiasts.

CHF values collaboration and has formed partnerships with various organizations to promote canine health, while its rigorous grant review process ensures that the highest quality research is supported. Through fundraising efforts, such as tributes and events, CHF continues to advocate for and recognize outstanding contributions in canine health research, making a lasting impact on the lives of dogs and their families.
