## Description

Canislupus Italia (CLI) is an Italian nonprofit association affiliated with the Italian federation Pronatura. It focuses on the wolf, particularly the Italian wolf (Canis lupus italicus), and on the challenges of conserving the species while supporting coexistence with human activities. The association presents itself as open to everyone and independent of ideological positions or preconceived views. Its central offering is opportunities for people interested in wolves to build knowledge through direct participation in field activities, alongside technicians, experts, and stakeholders. Canislupus Italia organizes thematic study camps in Italy and elsewhere in Europe, an activity it describes as Italy’s longest-running of its kind. Its website also shares information about wolf-related projects, conservation, and coexistence, with resources available for download and a forum for discussion. Past activities listed include study camps in national parks and other areas, as well as a national camera-trap photography and video contest. Visitors can find event updates, a photo gallery, news, and a newsletter, and can learn how to join the association.
