## Description

Canon Collins Trust is a brand that is dedicated to leading change through education and justice. They have a strong focus on higher education and research funding, providing scholarships and project grants to individuals who are addressing pressing issues in southern African society. They believe that education is transformative and crucial for the development of the region, and they actively work towards ensuring access to primary and secondary schooling as well. Their work is rooted in their history in the anti-apartheid struggle and they partner with organizations such as the Legal Resources Centre and Equal Education to empower marginalized communities. They value collaboration, fairness, and learning, and are committed to being accountable to their stakeholders. Through their international events program, they bring together scholars, alumni, and civil society partners to discuss human rights and social justice issues. Canon Collins Trust is a registered charity in England and Wales, as well as a South African NPO.
