# Cantinho do Tareco - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `cantinhodotareco.org` ## Description Cantinho do Tareco is a Portuguese animal-protection association founded in 2009 by a group of animal lovers. For 15 years, it has helped cats in need by rescuing animals from the streets, arranging veterinary treatment and sterilisation, and finding them responsible homes. Its work is guided by a commitment to animal welfare, care and giving each cat a chance at a new beginning. The association’s cats, affectionately called “tarecos,” are available for adoption. Prospective adopters can arrange a visit to the shelter and are asked to agree to the association’s adoption conditions. Cantinho do Tareco also welcomes volunteers to help with tasks such as cleaning, administering medication and collecting food. People can support its work by providing foster care, becoming members or sponsoring a cat, or making donations to help cover veterinary care, cleaning and medication. The organisation relies on volunteer work and donations and receives no municipal support. It also holds open days and scheduled visits, offering opportunities to meet the cats and learn about adoption. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/cantinhodotareco) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/cantinhodotareco) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idYJJC2efz/w/1082/h/686/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790843247912) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idYJJC2efz/w/479/h/478/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790843247993) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Rose Bud | #faaca8 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #3e3e3e | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Lora — asset _(google)_ - Oswald — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
