Local Impact Alliance is an organization formed in May 2019 with the aim of strengthening and promoting organized philanthropy in the Western Wayne area. The Alliance comprises three Community Foundation affiliates, including Canton Community Foundation, Community Foundation Plymouth, and Westland Community Foundation. Additionally, it includes a Women's Giving Circle called Giving Hope and several community programs such as PORCH, Future Fit, and Eagles for Children.

The Local Impact Alliance provides management, administrative, and development expertise to each affiliate, enabling them to focus on promoting philanthropy, building endowments, and making a positive impact in their communities. Each affiliate has a volunteer Advisory Board that plays a crucial role in asset development, understanding charitable needs, and awarding grants and scholarships. The Alliance also offers ten compelling reasons to give locally through a Community Foundation, including personalized service, broad expertise, tax advantages, and the opportunity to multiply the impact of charitable gifts by pooling resources.
