## Description

Cape Fox Corporation, representing Tlingit Natives from the Village of Saxman, has been in business for nearly 50 years. This brand values its rich heritage, tight-knit community, and flourishing businesses. Originally residing at Cape Fox in the Alexander Archipelago, they relocated to Saxman in southeast Alaska around the turn of the 20th century and have called it home ever since. Throughout their history, Alaskan Natives confronted discrimination and fought for their rights, culminating in the passage of the Anti-Discrimination Law in 1945. The 1970s marked a turning point with the formation of Cape Fox Corporation under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. Today, Cape Fox Corporation is a vibrant brand with various commercial ventures catering to tourists, visitors, and locals. With an expanding federal contracting group, they continue to strengthen their capabilities. As a brand deeply rooted in their Tlingit heritage, Cape Fox Corporation is committed to preserving their culture through artwork, language, and community engagement.
