## Description

The Sacramento Developer Collective is a dynamic brand committed to fostering creative talent within the greater Sacramento region. As a 501(c)(3) public charity, it plays a pivotal role in supporting and promoting the local video game development and creative industries. One of the collective's hallmark events is the Capital Creative Showcase, which highlights the innovative works of local game developers and students. This annual showcase provides a platform for participants to display their games, such as “Meet the Wild Witch,” “Parley of Pirates,” and “Kobold Tactics,” while also celebrating the graduation of new talent from the Progressive Game Jam program. The initiative allows teams to collaborate on projects over nine months, contributing to a vibrant gaming culture. Beyond events, the Sacramento Developer Collective also engages with local schools, inviting student showcases that feature contributions from West Park High School and River Valley High School, enhancing community involvement in the creative arts. Connect with this inspiring community to explore the future of gaming in Sacramento.
