## Description

Capnolog is an iPhone app built by a resident to help anesthesiology residents track and file cases against their specialty’s ACGME requirements. Users enter a case once, then Capnolog prepares the ACGME form for submission, with progress tracking that highlights unmet minimums during training. The first 50 ACGME filings are free; a Premium subscription adds features such as rotation-specific forms and suggested techniques, sites, and attendings. Logging cases and adding rotations remain free.

The app supports planning upcoming cases, keeping private notes, exporting ACGME CSVs and personal records as CSV or PDF, and importing existing case lists from spreadsheets, phone notes, or EMR exports. During import, it can remove patient names, medical record numbers, and birth dates; it does not connect to hospital systems or request hospital credentials. Capnolog is designed to avoid patient identifiers, offers end-to-end encryption and optional iCloud backup and sync, and keeps deleted cases recoverable for 30 days. It is available for iOS 17 or later.
