## Description

ABADA Capoeira Florida is a community-based school offering Capoeira instruction for children, teens, and adults. Capoeira is a Brazilian art that combines self-defense, dance-like movement, acrobatics, music, language, and cultural learning. The school presents it as an inclusive, energetic practice that supports physical, mental, and emotional growth, with classes designed for a range of ages and abilities.

Programs for children ages 6–11 use playful activities to encourage creativity, self-expression, coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving. Teen classes explore Capoeira’s physical and cultural disciplines in greater depth, developing athletic skills alongside confidence, discipline, and self-control. Adult classes offer fitness and flexibility training within a supportive community.

ABADA Capoeira Florida also brings Capoeira Arts Education to schools through demonstrations, workshops, residencies, and semester or longer-term programs. These offerings connect physical activity and artistic exploration with collaboration, empathy, and personal development. Led by Mestrando Coco and Instrutora Franjinha, the school invites newcomers to try a class and provides instruction at the Civic Center in St. Cloud, Florida.
