## Description

International Capoeira Raiz (ICR) is a capoeira group founded in 2007 by Mestre Bailarino, who also created the Associação Capoeira Bem Viver. Guided by a vision of honoring capoeira’s roots and origins, ICR offers classes and activities for adults and children. Mestre Bailarino directs the group across Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Portugal, and Germany, and has lived and taught capoeira in Berlin since 2007. The organization has a presence in cities including Berlin, Lisbon, Madrid, Warsaw, Breslau, and Zaporozhye.

ICR provides regular training, children’s capoeira classes, and events, rodas, and other opportunities to practise and connect with fellow students. Its website features training schedules, news, photos, videos, and event information. People interested in joining are invited to register for a free training visit so the group can arrange an appointment. Mestre Bailarino began training in 1980 and became a master in 1992; he later joined the Capoeira Muzenza group in 1993. ICR welcomes enquiries by phone or email and offers contact details for its Berlin base.
