## Description

Centro de Atletismo do Porto (CAP) is an athletics club in Porto, Portugal, established in 1974. Guided by the spirit of running, throwing and jumping, the club supports athletes across a range of ages and abilities, with youth development at the heart of its activities.

Its Escola de Atletismo Rosa Mota welcomes children and young people aged 6 to 16 who want to try athletics. Training takes place at Parque Desportivo de Ramalde on Wednesdays and Fridays. The programme introduces participants to track and field disciplines, including running, jumping, throwing and race walking.

CAP also provides opportunities for athletes to compete and develop through events and tournaments. Its activities include the Meeting de Atletismo do Porto António Ferreira, which features age-group sessions for younger and more experienced athletes, as well as youth throwing competitions. Club news highlights participation and achievements in events such as national throwing championships and regional competitions.
