## Description

Cappenberger Schleppjagdverein e.V. is a German equestrian club dedicated to maintaining the tradition of drag hunting. The association cares for a pack of around 30 Foxhounds, with approximately 20 taking part in hunts. Drag hunting is a non-blood sport in which riders follow a prepared scent trail with the hounds. The club and its dogs participate in about 35 hunts each year across much of Germany, and the association publishes dates and information for people interested in attending.

The club also offers regular dog training at its kennel in Werne, held on Saturdays at 10 a.m., and welcomes interested visitors. Supporters can join the association or sponsor an individual hound through a one-time or annual contribution. Its online shop features club-branded clothing and equestrian items, including sweaters, jackets, and saddle pads; proceeds support the dogs and the association. The website introduces the hunting team, explains the sport and its history, and shares club news.
