## Description

Capria Ventures is a venture capital firm focused on technology startups in the Global South. With an emphasis on Applied AI, it backs founders building solutions that can address significant challenges, transform traditional sectors, and support economic growth. The firm invests in early-growth companies across India, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, with a broader focus on entrepreneurial hubs in developing economies.

Beyond providing investment, Capria connects founders with a collaborative network that includes local venture capital firms and other entrepreneurs. It says it has helped foster relationships among hundreds of founders and investors across cities such as São Paulo, Lagos, Bangalore, and Jakarta. Its portfolio spans companies led by founders working in areas including education, healthcare, agriculture, workforce services, and building materials.

Capria also shares portfolio news, founder stories, and insights into its investment approach. The firm invites technology founders developing scalable solutions in its target regions to connect, and provides information for investors, partners, and job seekers through its website.
