## Description

Cardio-Franche-Comté is a French association founded on May 3, 2008, bringing together people living with heart conditions, those who have undergone cardiovascular surgery, their families, and others concerned about heart disease. Its work focuses on support, information, and community activities for people affected by cardiovascular illness. The association shares publications and practical resources about living with heart disease, different conditions, and the needs of family caregivers. It also provides information on membership and donations, contacts, and local support services.

Cardio-Franche-Comté organizes patient visits, including visits in hospitals, and offers regular drop-in sessions and Nordic walking activities. Its public events include health forums, heart-health awareness initiatives, and community activities delivered with local partners. The association’s website also provides educational guidance on responding to cardiac arrest, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of an automated external defibrillator, drawing on material from the French Red Cross. In partnership with local health organizations, it highlights services such as a mobile medical unit and home-based telemedicine.
