## Description

CareerCup is a brand that specializes in helping individuals prepare for jobs at tech companies, specifically for software engineering roles. Unlike other types of interviews, software engineering interviews are highly skill-based and require extensive study and preparation. CareerCup offers various products and services to assist individuals in this process. Their products include videos such as full interviews with industry professionals, topics like T9 Correction and Longest Subsequence, and specific interview questions like GetNextNode, Ransom Note, and Design Calculator. These resources provide valuable insights and practical examples to help individuals effectively prepare for their interviews. CareerCup's founding story is quite interesting. It all began in 2005 when Gayle Laakmann McDowell, the founder, started keeping notes on her own interview experiences and questions she encountered. Word spread about this valuable resource, and she decided to share it online instead of emailing it individually. The platform gradually evolved as more people started contributing their own interview questions, creating the CareerCup platform we know today. Gayle Laakmann McDowell herself is a renowned expert in interviewing, having gone through the interview process with top companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Apple, IBM, and more. She has vast experience on both sides of the desk, having worked at Microsoft, Apple, and Google. Her deep insights into each company's hiring practices make the resources provided by CareerCup highly valuable and reliable.
