## Description

Carers’ Support East Kent is a trusted charity dedicated to providing essential information and support to carers. Whether you care for a family member or friend dealing with physical or mental illness, age-related difficulties, disability, or addiction, we're here for you. Established in 2001, our organization is funded by Kent County Council, the NHS, charitable grants, and donations. Our services cater to carers who live or work in Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Shepway, or Thanet districts. We offer a range of assistance including information, support, and guidance through phone, email, online, text, and in-person consultations. Our expert team can help you explore services available to carers, inform you about benefits and rights, and provide a listening ear through drop-ins, support groups, social activities, and training workshops. Additionally, we offer a Carer’s Needs Assessment to identify and access the specific support you require as a carer. For added peace of mind, our Kent Carer’s Emergency Card ensures your loved one is taken care of when you're away. Trust Carers’ Support East Kent to be there for you every step of the way.
