## Description

Cari Care provides compassionate, person-centred support for young people, helping them build confidence, develop everyday skills and move towards greater independence. Its approach is based on creating a safe, welcoming environment where young people feel understood, respected and able to make choices about their lives. Support is tailored to each person’s strengths, preferences, needs and goals, with referrals considered individually to assess whether Cari Care can meet someone’s needs safely and appropriately.

The organisation may support young people with autism, trauma-related needs, complex needs, emotional or behavioural challenges, and communication or social needs. Its services include help with daily routines at home, such as cooking, shopping and cleaning, as well as personal care when required and agreed. Support can also extend to community activities, appointments, education, volunteering and employment goals where appropriate. Young people may develop budgeting, communication, social and emotional wellbeing skills, alongside positive routines and relationships. Through calm, consistent and trauma-informed support, Cari Care aims to help each person build practical skills, increase their choices and prepare for the next stage of life.
