## Description

Cariss Court Challenge is a community basketball event and charity fundraiser hosted at Cariss Court in Escondido, California. Designed as a relaxed gathering for friends and families, the event combines friendly basketball challenges with opportunities to socialize and support local charitable work. The 2026 gathering is scheduled for September 19, with basketball tip-off at 2:30 p.m. Activities include basketball challenges and 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 games, alongside a children’s rock-climbing wall, live music, dinner at sunset, drinks, and access to a pool. Families are invited to sign up in advance so organizers can plan for food, and a suggested donation of $100 per family supports the event’s chosen cause. In 2026, Cariss Court Challenge is partnering with Camp Hope Pathways, associated with Palomar Health and the Palomar Foundation, and aims to raise $10,000. The event’s charitable efforts previously raised $5,000 for the National Kidney Foundation in 2024. Its website also provides a charity auction and photo gallery for participants and supporters.
