## Description

Carissimi is a nonprofit charitable foundation based in Slovakia, registered by the Bratislava Regional Office in August 2002. Its mission is to support people with disabilities or health conditions and the families who care for them. The foundation offers a way for families raising a child with a disability to apply for assistance, and it invites the public to help fund its work through tax contributions and other support.

Carissimi also shares information and personal perspectives through its website and publication. Its content includes the Esély magazine, articles on disability and everyday life, a speech therapist’s column, and the series “Chic in Deafness.” Readers can explore news, photographs, videos and audio, a memorial book, relevant laws and regulations, and useful Slovak-Hungarian and Hungarian-Slovak resources. The site also provides information about applying for support and links to a regional emotional support telephone service. With accessible browsing features and a focus on practical guidance, community stories and charitable assistance, Carissimi serves individuals and families seeking information and support.
