CARL, the Canadian Association of Research Libraries, is an organization that represents Canada's twenty-nine largest university libraries and two federal institutions. Their mission is to provide leadership on behalf of research libraries and enhance capacity to advance research and higher education in Canada. CARL members play a crucial role in supporting the research community by improving access to knowledge, enhancing services to faculty, students, and researchers, and promoting effective and sustainable scholarly communication.
