## Description

Carman Country Fair is the signature community event of the Dufferin Agricultural Society Inc., an organization dedicated to raising agricultural awareness and bringing people together. A Manitoba tradition since 1879, the fair celebrates agriculture, education, diversity, integration, and community, welcoming visitors of all ages to enjoy a broad mix of entertainment and activities.

The fair features livestock shows, including a 4-H beef show and a provincial Percheron show, alongside miniature horses and agricultural demonstrations. Visitors can explore adult, junior, school, and senior displays in the exhibit hall, browse the Country Street Fair, and enjoy fair food, arts and crafts, motorsports, and free stage entertainment. Family offerings include the Wondershows midway with rides and games, a petting zoo, and other children’s activities. The program may also include a parade organized by the Carman Chamber of Commerce and barrel racing.

Beyond hosting the fair, the society invites community members to participate as members, volunteers, or sponsors.
