The innovative nature of this project, along with the support of prominent Caribbean individuals and institutions, has secured funding from the European Development Fund through the Interreg V Caribbean program. Centre CARO offers various services, including facilitation to strengthen business relationships, mediation to resolve disputes amicably, arbitration for enforceable decisions in 156 countries, and expertise with the appointment of neutral third-party experts. Leading the Centre CARO is Sir Dennis BYRON, former President of the Caribbean Court of Justice and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Alongside him are Jacques DARCHE, an experienced lawyer specialized in dispute resolution, Keats COMPTON, a telecommunications engineer with expertise in government relations, and Marie-Camille PITTON, a lawyer with years of experience in international arbitration. Centre CARO is co-financed by the INTERREG Caribbean program, and they offer a newsletter and contact information for those in need of advice or assistance.
