Carolina Abortion Fund (CAF) is a 501-c3 nonprofit organization that was founded in 2011 with the aim of ensuring that abortion care remains accessible to all individuals. Recognizing that financial barriers often prevent individuals from accessing the care they need, CAF operates a confidential, toll-free helpline that offers not only financial assistance but also practical and emotional support to callers in North and South Carolina. As a pro-abortion and pro-choice organization, CAF firmly believes in the importance of providing compassionate, dignified, and respectful care to those who choose abortion.

They work in partnership with reproductive justice organizations at the local, regional, and national levels to support individuals and families in their reproductive decisions, whether it be parenting, abortion, or adoption. CAF is dedicated to dismantling the barriers that restrict access to reproductive healthcare by addressing the intersectionality of gender identity, race, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, religion, ability, place of origin, citizenship, and other defining factors. They strive to center and amplify the voices and experiences of the communities they serve to create a more inclusive and equitable healthcare system.
