## Description

Carrie DeJong & Associates is a Vancouver therapy agency that specializes in anxiety, trauma, and addiction. With a team of Registered Clinical Counsellors in British Columbia, they offer therapy services aimed at helping individuals understand their nervous system and its impact on their mental health and recovery. Utilizing neuroscience, they provide insights into optimal functioning and the effects of anxiety, trauma, and addiction on one's well-being. Carrie DeJong, the founder, is dedicated to bringing more science and compassion to the field of addiction recovery. Her expertise in trauma and addiction has led her to develop the Vortex Model of Addiction, a neurophysiology-based framework that sheds light on the complex behavioral and emotional patterns associated with addiction. Carrie's approach focuses on the interconnectedness of our being and how it contributes to overcoming difficulties. They also provide resources such as articles and an eBook, "Trauma and Addiction: The Link We Can't Ignore," to help individuals make sense of trauma and addiction. Discover support, resources, and your true self with Carrie DeJong & Associates.
