CarrPrep is a specialist rally car preparation and fabrication business based in Malton, North Yorkshire. It builds and supports both historic and modern rally cars, with particular expertise in the iconic Mk1 and Mk2 Ford Escorts of the 1970s and 1980s. Led by engineer, fabricator and rally driver Nick Carr, the team has experience restoring and rebuilding period works Ford Escorts, including projects developed from bare bodyshells to full works-specification cars using traditional Boreham methods.

The workshop offers complete car builds, bespoke projects, shell fabrication, pre-event preparation and on-event support. Services also include upgrades and modifications to existing vehicles, as well as specialist bodyshell and component fabrication. Workshop capabilities include sheet-metal folding, MIG and TIG welding in steel and aluminium, and brazing for applications requiring period-style reinforcement. CarrPrep uses its own bodyshell jig to help ensure accurate alignment during fabrication. The company invites enquiries for rally car projects and fabrication work, and provides a request form for prospective build projects.
