- **Primary alias:** `carryherload.org`

## Description

Carry Her Load supports survivors of domestic and sexual abuse as they leave unsafe homes and begin safer chapters of life. Based in Irving, Texas, the organization provides moving services at two important points: when survivors flee abusive homes and when they transition from shelters into new living situations. Volunteers help move and protect treasured belongings, offering practical assistance intended to restore dignity during a difficult transition.

The organization also runs programs that address survivors’ everyday needs. The Daughter Project provides cosmetics, skin and hair care products, and intimate apparel to help women feel more confident as they focus on building lives free from abuse. Its Amazon Wish List enables supporters to purchase essential items for the program. Sons for Mothers supplies home goods to help survivors turn empty spaces into comfortable, safe places and rebuild stability.

Through these services and opportunities to help, Carry Her Load aims to make fresh starts more attainable.
