## Description

Cartmel Park is a family-run lodge park in the picturesque village of Cartmel, in the southern Lake District. Overlooking Hampsfell and surrounded by countryside, coastal walks and local wildlife, the park is about 20 minutes from Lake Windermere. Its current owners took over in 2012 and have developed the former camping and caravan site into a lodge destination open for owners’ use throughout the year.

The park offers new and pre-owned holiday lodges for sale, with plots held on secure 125-year leases. Lodges are sold fully furnished, and buyers can seek independent legal advice before completing a purchase. The park is not a residential site, and commercial subletting is not permitted, though owners may welcome friends and family. Lease terms include limits on annual service-charge increases, linked to the Retail Price Index, and protections for designated open spaces.

On-site Wi-Fi is available through several paid packages. Cartmel Park also provides information about lodge ownership, the local area and nearby activities, and invites prospective buyers to visit or get in touch.
