CASA of Baltimore County, Inc is a brand that offers support and advocacy for children in foster care who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Their dedicated team of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) works tirelessly to ensure that these children receive the services they need and strive to recommend the best outcome for each child - a safe, loving, and permanent home. With nearly 650 children in foster care in Baltimore County annually, CASA of Baltimore County currently serves approximately one third of these children.

However, their goal is to reach out and support even more children in need. By receiving continued financial assistance and increasing the number of volunteers, they aim to have a positive impact on the lives of each and every child. Their mission is clear - to provide court-appointed volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Baltimore County.

By envisioning a world where every abused or neglected child is given an opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home, CASA of Baltimore County is working tirelessly towards a future where they can serve all 600 children in the Baltimore County foster care system annually. Since its establishment in 2000, CASA of Baltimore County has rapidly expanded and currently has a staff of eight employees who support around 175 volunteer advocates each year. They are one of the twenty CASA programs serving jurisdictions across Maryland.
