## Description

Casa Dos Landes is a French association founded primarily by parents of children with disabilities who are approaching adulthood. Faced with a shortage of places in suitable institutions, the founders set out to create an independent, inclusive housing solution in the Landes. Its main project is to establish what it describes as the area’s first shared home for adults with disabilities, designed to provide a supportive living environment for five residents. The home will be guided by the principles of autonomy, cohesion, learning and recreation, with a small group intended to encourage connection among occupants. Casa Dos Landes also hopes to support other parents who want to create similar independent structures and, over the longer term, plans to explore the development of additional shared homes. Its work is intended to benefit not only adults with disabilities but also their families. The association shares project updates and information about the future home, introduces its members and partners, and invites the public to contribute through donations.
