# Casa Ieralla - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `casaieralla.org` ## Description Casa Ieralla, formally Casa Livia Ieralla – ramo ETS, is a nonprofit residential care provider established in 1987 by the Diocese of Trieste. Located in Padriciano on the Karst Plateau, about 10 kilometres from central Trieste, it supports older and otherwise vulnerable people who can no longer live independently at home or with family. The residence has 112 authorised beds under agreement with the Regional Health Service and aims to provide professional care with warmth, while supporting families and preserving each guest’s remaining independence. Services include medical care through each guest’s chosen general practitioner and nursing coverage around the clock. Residents can also access personal care, physiotherapy, psychological support, and educational and recreational activities. The home provides religious and spiritual assistance, meals prepared through an external catering provider using the facility’s internal kitchen, and laundry and wardrobe services.
