## Description

The Canadian Astronomical Society (CASCA) is dedicated to the advancement of astronomy research and education across Canada. With a rich history and a commitment to fostering scientific collaboration, CASCA serves as a hub for astronomers, educators, and enthusiasts alike. The society provides numerous resources, including guidelines for committees, membership opportunities, and access to various awards recognizing excellence in the field of astronomy.

CASCA’s initiatives include promoting public outreach through collaborations with museums and planetariums, as well as organizing conferences that bring together thought leaders in astronomy. The society actively engages with multiple committees such as the Equity and Inclusivity Committee, Sustainability Committee, and Indigenous Engagement Committee, highlighting its commitment to diverse voices in the field.
