## Description

The Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI), also known as the Institut aéronautique et spatial du Canada (IASC), is a professional institute serving and promoting the capabilities of Canadian aerospace and space professionals worldwide. It brings together members through special-interest sections, regional branches, committees, corporate partnerships, and events. Membership offers opportunities to connect with colleagues, participate in professional activities, access peer-reviewed scientific e-publications, and receive reduced registration fees for conferences and events. Members can also pursue advancement within the institute and become eligible for recognition, including prestigious awards and student activity grants.

CASI organizes conferences, technical programs, tours, webinars, and branch events, while providing sponsorship and exhibition opportunities for organizations. Its awards program recognizes achievements across the Canadian aerospace and space community. The institute also supports professional networking and member account services, including membership renewal, profile management, event registration, and communication through its mobile app. CASI publishes the Canadian Journal of Remote Sensing and provides information about membership, governance, branches, partners, and upcoming activities.
