## Description

CASL is a nonprofit organization based in Monte Córdova, Portugal, dedicated to promoting social recognition of people with disabilities through their abilities and competence. Its work includes services and facilities supporting people with disabilities and their families, with information available about a residential home, early intervention, and the organization’s Pólo and Sol Nascente center. CASL also highlights a project to rehabilitate, modernize, and equip the center’s occupational activities provision (CAO).

Alongside its ongoing services, CASL organizes holiday programs for participants, including the “Verão sem Barreiras” 2026 holiday camp in Apúlia and earlier summer holiday colonies. The organization shares news about community events, activities, and general assemblies, and publishes reports, accounts, and updates through its website and social media channels. Its work is supported in part by public institutions, including Portugal’s Institute for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the National Institute for Rehabilitation, as noted in project and program announcements.
