## Description

Castellumpop is a community festival organised by Stichting Castellumpop in Valkenburg, South Holland. Held on Castellumplein during the Valkenburg Horse Market, the event brings residents and visitors together for three days of live music, entertainment and activities. Its 2027 edition is scheduled for 7, 8 and 9 September, under the motto “Als het eerst maar weer Mart is!” (Looking forward to the fair again).

Castellumpop offers a varied programme designed for different ages and interests. The 2026 event featured live bands, a wine tasting, a playback show, a children’s circus, a troubadour, and a multi-band concert, followed by singalong performances and a disco. Visitors could enjoy music ranging from rock and pop covers to brass, folk and classic hits. The festival also welcomes performers, volunteers and playback-show participants, and invites local businesses to support future editions.

Admission to Castellumpop is free, thanks to sponsorship from businesses in Valkenburg and surrounding areas.
