## Description

Castlebar Lake Lodge is a family-owned Canadian fishing and hunting destination near Longlac, Ontario, offering a remote wilderness experience with convenient drive-in access. Located beside a 3,000-acre lake, it is the only lodging on the water and provides access to fishing for walleye, northern pike, brook trout, perch, and other species. Guests can also navigate the river to neighboring Proctor Lake.

The lodge offers six rustic cabins for groups of up to ten people. Each cabin has a private three-piece bathroom, kitchen, and lake-view sunroom, with bunk-room arrangements suited to groups of different sizes. Weekly lodging starts at $350 per person for groups of three or more.

Seasonal hunting trips focus on moose, ruffed grouse, and spruce grouse in the surrounding forests, clear cuts, and logging-road country. Full hunts include game-retrieval assistance. Castlebar Lake Lodge is about a 30-minute drive from Longlac, where visitors can find groceries and bait, and is reached by a dirt road off Highway 11.
