# Castro Writers' Coop - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `castrowriterscoop.com` ## Description The Castro Writers’ Cooperative is a San Francisco community and co-working space created specifically for writers. Located in the heart of the Castro, it offers a peaceful retreat where people can focus on their writing and work alongside others who share a commitment to the craft. Since 2005, the Cooperative has welcomed writers across a wide range of disciplines, including novelists, journalists, playwrights, poets, and screenwriters. Its inclusive approach brings together people with different forms of writing and creative practice in a space devoted solely to writers. The Cooperative is designed for those seeking a dedicated place to work and a community beyond writing alone at home or in other settings. Visitors can learn about the organization, how it works, its writers, and the process for joining through its website, which also provides contact information. Whether developing a novel, reporting a story, writing for the stage or screen, or creating poetry, members find a writer-focused environment in San Francisco’s Castro district. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Books and Literature _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/castrocoop) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/CastroCoop) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id7QfjSlC9/w/255/h/272/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793139104863) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id7QfjSlC9/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793139105430) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Burnt Sienna | #e8855b | accent | | Olive | #687b00 | dark | | Pancho | #edd1ad | light | ## Fonts - proxima — asset _(custom)_ ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id7QfjSlC9/w/1500/h/500/id5TBrpX8s.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793139105119) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
